SETTING
The story took place in Oriental plaza in Johannesburg, in 1990, after Independence.
SUMMARY
Mrs Nebo the wife of Clive Nebo an important official of the Africa Font and his friend Margaret were on a shopping expedition at the oriental plaza in fordsburg , her husband had been already designated as the foreign Affair Minister in the new government to established after the passing of the apartheid era. they were accompanied by two escorts and a chauffeur driving a Mercedes Benz. after they bought several items from different stores, mrs Nebo went in the Moghul Boutique where she saw the silk scarf that match one of her dress,she has been looking for in other shop , because she was not having enough money to buy it she insist to give a cheque to the sheller Mr Sakur, because Mr Sakur was only eccepting cash in his business, he oppose to take M rs Nedo is cheque. although mrs Nebo was angry and feel offended, Mr Sakur did not given, eventually the Plaza shopkeepers decided to buy the scarf and give it to Mrs Nebo as gift.
MAIN CHARACTERS
Ms Nebo the wife of Clive Nebo, an important official of the Africa Font. She was of medium height ,with heavy loins with smooth skinned complexion. she is a person who insist others to do things against their will. she is very particular about wearing clothes whose colours blended harmoniously. Mr Sakur is a shopkeeper, of the Moghul Boutique. he is the person who treat people equaly, and he likes keeping order in his shop.

through the tunnel
1.Setting
took place in France 1990, during summer time.
2.Summary
Jerry, a young English boy and his mother are vacationing at the beach they have come many times in years past. through the beach's location is not given means that they are in the country that is foreign to them.each tries to please the other and not to impose too many demands.Jerry's mother is window and is sometimes overprotecting him because he is the only child she own, She olso determine to be possessive nor lacking in devotion and Jerry in turn , acts from an unfailing impulse of contrition a shot chivalry.on the second morning however ,Jerry lets it slip that he would like to a wild and lock bay, he has glimpsed from the path. his conscientious mother sent him on his way with what she hope is a casual air and Jerry leaves behind the crowded safe Beach where he has always played. a strong swimmer Jerry plunges in and goes so far out that he want to use the goggles he insist her mother to buy for him.

Jerry an English boy for eleven years old, on his first holiday with his mother , they go to the beach where they have often be in the past, Jerry's mother is a window and sometimes overprotect him because he is the only child she own. Jerry is a good swimmer and he tries to make friends with some old boys in the beach but they ignore him after find out that he is childish.Jerry is jealous of the older boys, he watches them as they swim through rocks in which there is a narrow under water gaps in attempt to become equal to them, although they ignore him, he didn't give in he continue swimming.
